DA BARNES GROUP COVID-19 PANDEMIC MESSAGE
It is encouraging to see the Covid-19 case numbers dropping dramatically. However, Covid-19 along with RSV, Flu and others are still cause for caution. We recognize that there are those with risk factors and those who find that a vaccine is medically contraindicated. Therefore, our priority continues to be the health, safety and well-being of both our staff and of our customers. Personally, we still mask and follow the latest CDC guidelines and local government requirements.
While we are health and safety conscious, we are also committed to providing you, our customers, with the latest products and services that you need and when you need them. We are now delivering the vast majority of our software products and support services remotely. We are open to any special arrangements that might be needed to safely fulfill your orders. We use e-signatures for order signing and e-invoices for billing.
In the case of most hardware such as a new document scanner, a new computer etc., we already routinely arrange for it to be shipped to our office for configuration first and then shipped to you, whether that is an office or a work from home location. It will be ready for you to just plug in. It is our “Hardware Streamlined Installation” (or “HSI”) and includes pre-setup, configuration, remote assistance and remote training.
In case a site visit is necessary, our staff will observe currently recommended safety practices. We will also be asking you if there are any special protocols or procedures that your business requires.
We continue to monitor COVID-19, Flu, RSV et al. Our focus will be on safely providing you with the best possible customer support. Continue to take prudent precautions and join me in experiencing the “Post Covid-19 Renaissance”!
